This beautiful girl is turning 8 this year and has grandpuppies on the way! No puppies at our house this round- but Marcie and Griswold (Primrose and Elf) from the Ostara litter are now two years old, have passed health testing and are solid family pets. They each are owned/co-owned by other Companion Dog Project breeders. Marcie is expecting May 15th and Grizzy has been bred. I'll be excited to share pupdates soon. Yay! Babies! ... See MoreSee Less

She's beautiful. She looks like a mature version of Lilly who just turned 1 on Sunday.
So exciting! Happy birthday to her!
She was the CUTEST puppy!

Who needs a clock when you live with a lab! 😛
They can tell time better than us!
I just love the way these two are in sync. I always thought Ruby would retire to a new home alone but I'm starting to wonder if they belong together. This is my first experience living with a mother and daughter to maturity. They are like two halves of a whole. It's a beautiful thing. They aren't dependent on each other, but they mirror each other perfectly. 💜 ... See MoreSee Less

They are beautiful, and I bet they taste fantastic!
Mine love to go egg hunting in the yard! They have to wait inside while the eggs are hidden and they get so excited. LOL

Love your gate set up Looks like you have a smaller one that feeds into a larger one run? I'd like to do something similar at my house.
Dogs in the bed is a controversial topic. I'm in favor. That's why we got this California king. Wish they made something bigger.... ... See MoreSee Less
Our cat is in the “dogs don’t belong on the bed” camp.
Alaskan king! ❤️
Same for jumping on couches and crating vs not crating. I always say to clients “your house, your rules!”
I have always allowed my own dogs to sleep in the bed with me. I find it comforting. I don't like them on the rest of the furniture and I always set those boundaries. I tell my clients that allowing a dog on the bed/furniture is your choice. However, it is a privilege for the dog. If, for example, the dog is destroying the pillows/furniture, bouncing everywhere and preventing you from sleeping, guarding the bed when in it, etc., they should not be allowed on the furniture. Note that I don't allow the service dogs in training on the bed or other furniture. I don't know if their person is going to want them in the bed with them so I don't want them to get in that habit. Also they cannot be jumping on furniture in public places so it is easiest to keep them off the furniture in the first place.
I’ve seen a picture of a raised single bed above and across the bottom part of a larger bed. It was raised just high enough for a comfortable space to accommodate feet. If in locking wheels, it could be easily moved for bedding changes. 🙂
I agree. ❤️🥰
I crate train but dogs and cats on the furniture and in the bed❤️
Happy Monday evening from the Old Mission Retrievers. All eyes are on the bacon treat in my hand. Our dogs are all extremely food motivated, and not picky eaters. They will work for anything from kibble to broccoli to bacon. This is a good quality when it comes time to learn and listen. ... See MoreSee Less
